• Split or Extract Values: Easily split or extract specific values from a column, allowing you to parse and rearrange data according to your needs.
• Remove Punctuation: Clean up your data by removing unnecessary punctuation, ensuring that your datasets are neat and consistent.
• Create Conditional Statements: Utilize IF/THEN/ELSE logic to build dynamic columns that respond to data conditions, enhancing the adaptability of your analysis.

How to Get Started with Savant Copilot 

1. Navigate to Tools: Once you sign up and are logged in, head over to the Tools section of the dashboard.

2. Add Transform Data Tool: In the Tools section, find and select the “Transform Data” tool to begin shaping your data.

3. Click on Add Column: Choose the option to add a new column to your dataset, which will allow you to input additional data or derived calculations.

4. Enter the Column Name: Assign a name to your new column that reflects the data or calculation it will contain.

5. Activate Savant Copilot: With the new column selected, click on the Savant Copilot option to start automating the process with natural language commands.

6. Type Your Command: Simply type out what you need in plain English in the command box—for example, “create email from first name initial last name @domain.”

7. Click on ‘Ask Savant’: After entering your command, click the ‘Ask Savant’ button to submit your request to Copilot.

8. Confirm the Formula: Copilot will process your command and provide a recommended formula or action. Review this suggestion and if it aligns with your needs, click ‘Confirm’ to proceed.

9. Review and Confirm Again: Take a moment to review the changes. If everything looks good, confirm again to finalize the addition of the new column.

10. New Column Created: Once confirmed, the new column will be added to your dataset with the specified calculations or data transformations applied as per your command.
